College town and gateway to shimmering lake and shady forest, the city of Bloomington provides easy access to scenic drives, hiking trails and popular paddling destinations.
You can begin from the "Crested Butte" side and go down the trail, or begin from the "Aspen" side and head up the trail. An upward trek is expectably more difficult, but the trail is rocky either way. Once you crawl above the treeline, take a look down. The scenery is amazing.
