Anderson is a White River town with a variety of cultural and recreational attractions. It is a popular overnight stop for travelers heading to Indianapolis along Interstate Highway 69. Camping, swimming, fishing and hiking are among the outdoor activities at Mounds State Park where Native American mounds are preserved.
